The Krewe de la Joie stands firm in our belief and motto that we welcome all that share our love of Mardi Gras and Eureka Springs as a 501(c)(7). We pride ourselves for spectacular experiences that create memories.
We continue to uphold the fundamental grounds that our club was founded, which is one of democratic principles, voting equality, fairness, fellowship, unity, inclusion, and transparency. Our love of Eureka Springs is only enhanced by the multi-faceted cultures and influential contributions of everyone. Our goal has always been to create a safe environment for people to enjoy Mardi Gras Carnival.
Let the Good Times Roll - Laissez le Bon Temps Rouler
Unlike many krewes, Krewe de la Joie does not have royalty with a King/Queen and royal court. We parade our crazy side three times each year-the Zombie Crawl, night time Mardi Gras parade, and a daytime Mardi Gras parade. During the Mardi Gras season, we have a formal ball and cap the season with a Fat Tuesday masquerade party like none other. During the year, we have social events around the area, just to make sure we have fun throughout the year. We meet twice each year with all members, who are entitled to vote on matters, advised of financial standing, and participate in selecting the social events of the year. The Krewe is bound together by the common goals of building a better community and the pursuit of good fun.

Eureka Springs Mardi Gras
While carnival celebrations can conjure visions of decadent times, Eureka Springs Mardi Gras is a family-friendly event that loves to find a kid to throw beads, candy, or toys during a parade. We blast music from the float and line dancers follow the float with themed music for the parade. Don't forget to shout, "Throw me something, mister!"
Joining a krewe usually means that you have been invited to join or you are friends with someone on the krewe. We are open to new members. Join us for the fun events we have all through the year.
